STELLA MCCARTNEY WANTS FOUR CHILDREN
Stella McCartney clearly believes four is the magic number when it comes to children.
The fashion designer daughter of Sir Paul McCartney and his late wife Linda has three children aged four, three and one but, hosting the London premiere of Food Inc, she admitted: "I'm kind of interested in having more children.
"Though right now I feel like I've only just stopped having them, so I'm ready to have a bit of a break first."
Stella, who has three siblings Mary, James and Heather said her children were her priority but added: "You're allowed to be a working mum. You just have to strike a balance."

Paul McCartney's son James on The Beatles, Nirvana and The Cure
James McCartney is embracing the family business and kicking off his first UK tour in Liverpool this week.
Sir Paul and Linda McCartney's son played a handful of anonymous UK shows in October, under the name Light.
Now the 32-year-old multi-instrumentalist will embark on his first full tour, and if these shows are anything like his 2009 warm-up shows, the audience are in for a night of blistering rock tunes.
"The music was inspired by The Beatles, Nirvana, The Cure, PJ Harvey, Radiohead and all good music," says James.
"It is basically rock n' roll, clean sounding and vocal.
"We are mixing our album in Sussex and New York. The words on the album refer to spirituality, love, family, trying to sort out one's life, and many other things. I have written the songs over a 10-year period."
His songs are melody driven, hook laden anthems that show songwriting clearly runs in the family.
James has been playing music all his life. He's spent the past two years writing and recording for his debut album which he has been working on with producer David Kahne.
With his move into the public eye, James not only follows his mum and dad, but his sisters too.
Stella McCartney is the lauded fashion designer and Mary is a high-profile photographer.
His uncle Mike McCartney is an acclaimed photographer, who together with Roger McGough and John Gorman formed The Scaffold.
McCartney's tour kicks off at the O2 Academy, on Hotham Street, on February 25 and ends in Cardiff.

Off the record: Who'd be the son of a Beatle?
Most people are not aware that Paul McCartney even has a son — never mind one making a tentative foray towards musical stardom.
But James, the quiet youngest child of Paul and Linda, has just embarked on his first UK tour starting, appropriately enough, in Liverpool last night and arriving in London next month.
What's remarkable is how little fanfare there has been. The children of celebrities ordinarily feel entitled to the spotlight, no matter how little they deserve it. James is playing tiny venues.

Chance for success for Paul McCartney's son James will be a long and winding road
It's been only about six months since word got out that James McCartney was working on a music career and already he seems to giving Dhani Harrison a strong challenge for the title of Beatle Offspring To Watch. There's been a lot of discussion about fans of his dad about his music and his flourishing career.
McCartney is working on an album, to be produced by David Kahne, the man who woked on his father's "Driving Rain." And James is on tour in the UK at present. The dates run through the end of March.
He calls his music a mixture of influences. "The music was inspired by The Beatles, Nirvana, The Cure, PJ Harvey, Radiohead - and all good music. It is basically rock n' roll, clean sounding and vocal. We are mixing our album in Sussex and New York. The words on the album refer to spirituality, love, family, trying to sort out one's life, and many other things. I have written the songs over a 10-year period," he says on his website.
One influence he didn't mention that's conspicuous by its absence is his father. Though the younger McCartney doesn't mimic his father, there are strong traces of his Dad's music in his voice and his writing.
The question is where will all this lead. A report by the UK Sun says record labels are jumping all over themselves to sign him.
Sure, James McCartney appears to be in the driver's seat right now. But others have been down the same road and not done well.
Can he? It'll be a long and winding road, certainly, and not without its bumps. He needs to stay true to himself to have the best chance to make it.
In other words, James, just let it be and things will be ok.

Paul McCartney's son James fields record offers
James McCartney, son of ex-Beatle Sir Paul, is playing to acclaim in the UK and has reportedly been swamped with recording offers.
The 32-year-old, whose mother is the late Linda, has just wound up recording for his debut album, which was produced by his collaborator David Kahn.
A source said: 'James is really happy with the album and is enjoying playing live. All he's got to worry about is who he's going to sign with.'
The paper claims James is fielding offers from Universal, EMI, Warner and Sony as well as smaller, independent labels. All are clamouring to sign the rocker, whose diverse influences are cited as those of Nirvana and Fleetwood Mac.
The Liverpool Daily Post last week reports McCartney appeared as a 'younger, blonder version of his old man with a blue guitar slung around his neck'.
James dedicated a song, titled My Friend, to George Harrison and paid homage to his father with a performance of I Love You, Dad.

Paul McCartney's son James plays Nottingham gig
It can't be easy being the son of a Beatle; especially when you decide to pick up a guitar or a pair of drumsticks. Just ask Julian Lennon, or Sean. Or even Zak Starkey.
So when James McCartney decided to pick up the baton his old man had been keeping warm for him, he must have known that he'd be under the microscope from day one.
But apart from a noodling guitar solo he played on Macca's Flaming Pie over ten years ago, McCartney Jr has been keeping a low profile.

В январе 2010 года компания Citroen запустила в производство модель DS3. В основу рекламы нового Ситроена была положена "философия Антиретро". Главным носителем этой философии и заодно лицом рекламной кампании стал Джон Леннон.

"Sean Lennon defends TV campaign on Twitter".
John Lennon’s son has defended the use of his father’s image in a new car advertisement. Video footage of the late former Beatle, filmed in the late 1960s, appears in a new TV campaign after Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono authorised its use.
Sean Ono Lennon has denied his mother did it for the money, saying she allowed the footage to be used to keep him "in the public consciousness".
He took to Twitter to defend the move, saying “it's just hard to find new ways to keep dad in the new world. Not many things as effective as TV."
He added “I realize why people are mad, but the intention was not financial.”

Не все в курсе, но известный режиссер Гай Ритчи (Guy Ritchie) помимо увлечения кино занимается еще и музыкой. У него есть собственный рекорд-лейбл, на котором записываются артисты разных жанров. Среди них фолк-группа из Ирландии The Punchbowl Band, которая кроме того, что записывается на лейбле Гая, так еще и выступает в его собственном пабе.
Группа настолько понравилась Стелле Маккартни (Stella McCartney), что она решила пригласить ее музыкального сопровождения своего дефиле. Стелла уже давно знакома с Гаем, ведь он бывший муж ее закадычной подруги Мадонны. Несмотря на то, что Мадонна с Гаем Ритчи сейчас находится в очень натянутых, если не сказать враждебных, отношениях, Стелла считает, что нет ничего удивительного, что она попросила группу Гая Ритчи The Punchbowl Band выступить на показе. «Никто не помешает заполучить мне лучшую музыку для моего шоу», – говорит сама Стелла.
Ну а группа только и рада такой возможности! Ведь для этих ирландцев это первое настолько крупное выступление. In profile, he has his dad's pursed mouth and nose. Full on, the face becomes more eerily identical the more you stare at it. No DNA tests would ever be needed to confirm that this is indeed Paul McCartney's only son, playing his first official London gig at the age of 32. Start listening as well, though, and the fantasies that intrude aren't of the Beatles' Shea Stadium triumph, or Abbey Road genius. I start to imagine Paul McCartney's Liverpool suburban upbringing shifted in time to the early 1990s, with him now listening to Nirvana and the Cure, not Elvis Presley, at night, and instead of conquering the world, remaining a talented, almost content weekend rocker, sometimes musing what might have been: McCartney, in other words, if the sparks of genius and luck never struck. That seems James's honourable level.

James McCartney: I was in the womb when dad sang Mull of Kintyre.. now I want musical career of my own
JAMES MCCARTNEY is looking forward to getting back to where he once belonged as he heads to Scotland as part of a UK tour.
The 32-year-old son of Paul McCartney spent a chunk of his childhood on the Mull Of Kintyre, where his parents recorded many of their hit songs with the group Wings, including the 1977 mega-hit Mull Of Kintyre.
James, who bears a striking resemblance to his old man, has finally committed to follow in his footsteps and those of his late mother Linda by pursuing a career in music.
And he will play two low-key Scottish dates next week.
He admits the trip to Scotland with his band will be an emotional one for him.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to spending some time in Scotland on this tour.
"I went to Scotland a lot on holiday each summer with my family and I was in the womb when my mum and dad did Mull of Kintyre, so it means a lot to me - great memories of my mum and my family."
Like his older half-sister Heather, James has spent most of his life out of the public eye.
He strives to keep his life private, unlike their fashion designer sister, Stella and photographer sister, Mary.
And, though James knows he can never hope to emulate his father's success, his hope is that by going on his first tour, he'll land a record deal of his own on the back of the live dates.
Born James Louis McCartney, he was named after his paternal grandfather Jim McCartney and maternal grandmother Louise Linder Eastman.
The youngest child of Paul and Linda, he spent his first two-and-a-half years of life on the road with the family and the band Wings until they broke up in 1980.
Then he co-wrote a few songs on some of his dad's solo albums, including 1997's Flaming Pie and 2001's Driving Rain.
On Flaming Pie, he can be heard playing electric guitar solo on the track Heaven On A Sunday.
On Driving Rain, he co-wrote the songs Spinning On An Axis and Back In The Sunshine Again with his father and played percussion on the former track and guitar on the latter.
He also plays lead guitar on his mother's posthumously released solo album, Wide Prairie.
In October last year, he played a handful of UK shows, appearing anonymously under the name Light.
Now Scots will get the chance to judge for themselves whether his dad's musical DNA runs though his veins when he plays Edinburgh's Cabaret Voltaire on Sunday, followed by Glasgow's King Tut's next Wednesday.
The venues have a capacity of about 300 - but James is happy to pay his dues with gigs similar in size to those the Beatles cut their teeth on in Hamburg prior to finding fame.
Asked who or what inspired him to go out and play live, James admitted: "Obviously, first, The Beatles, my dad, John Lennon. But I'd say Nirvana have had a big in uence on my music and live performance.
"I love the music. I love the art. It's intense.
"I just want people to become more aware of my music and enjoy it and maybe get some crowds totally rocking.
"I've got a great bunch of musicians together and am looking forward to these dates - just getting out there onstage, feeling good and getting more experience playing my album live.
"I guess just enjoying myself and honing the live performance. Hopefully, seeing people enjoy the music and having a positive effect on them."
His solo album has been recorded with his dad's help and is expected to be released later this year.

More than 40 years after the Fab Four stopped recording their final album Let It Be, the musical legacy continues for many of the children of the Beatles.
Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey is a top-tier session drummer, notably backing The Who and Oasis.
Sean Lennon has settled into a comfortable cult status, having worked with the Beastie Boys, Marianne Faithfull and Mark Ronson.
George Harrison's son Dhani has tried to make it as a guitarist.
Of his own son, Paul once revealed: "He liked guitar ever since he saw Back To The Future. We played Johnny B. Goode together."
In fact, when James asked his dad how he thought the album sounded, the former Beatle responded with a clear thumbs-up, announcing: "It's sensational."

Gig review: James McCartney
PERFORMING a song called I Love You Dad is a risky, potentially cheesy move for anyone, but probably more so when the world knows your dad is Sir Paul McCartney, the man who helped write the blueprint for almost any guy with a guitar. Indeed, performing at all when your dad is fab Macca is a risky move of which McCartney the younger is only too conscious.
Until now he has remained firmly in the background, contributing to a couple of his dad's albums and performing live only a handful of times under the pseudonym Light.
